We strive to provide transparency in our application and hiring process. We’ve answered the frequently asked questions, so you can start the process prepared and well informed!

Can I choose which club I work at?

We recommend you apply to the club location, where you prefer to work. However, if your preferred location does not have a current opening or the schedule does not fit your availability, you may be invited to interview at a nearby club. Otherwise, you will be asked to wait until your preferred club has an opening that fits your schedule. Club Fitness does allow transfers for unique situations such as relocation that is closer to another club location, scheduling options or to meet the staffing needs of another club.

How long does it take to get promoted?

Recognition for a job well done is a huge part of the Club Fitness culture. Promotions depend on current openings, your performance, and your experience. We strive to fill our managerial positions internally.

How often do I get paid?

All Club Fitness employees are paid bi-weekly (every other Friday).

What happens after I apply for a position?

Immediately after you apply for a position, you will receive an email confirmation of submission. You can monitor the status of your application by logging into your Candidate Home page and selecting from your current applications under “My Applications.” Candidates can access their candidate account and view the status of their applications and take any pending action by clicking the cloud icon next to their email address.

Does Club Fitness have a dress code?

Yes, it is important that our members can quickly identify our team to meet their needs, so we ask employees to wear a uniform shirt (dry fit).

What type of schedule will I be assigned?

Club Fitness’ mission is to be the premier health and fitness center in our community. To be the best we need to be properly staffed during our busiest times of the day. Club Fitness requires an employee to be scheduled a minimum of 16 hours per week, but some schedules allow employees to work up to 30 hours per week.

Schedules are assigned at the time a job offer is made and based on the employee’s availability and the shift that is open at that time. When shifts open up due to someone transferring or leaving, the open shift may be picked up by a current employee who prefers that schedule over his/her current shift, with management approval.

How Do I Make A Request For Reasonable Accommodation?

Club Fitness will make accommodations for requests on a case-by-case basis. Candidates and employees should email HUMANRESOURCES@CLUBFITNESS.US to ask for assistance with the application process and other accommodation requests.
